Jerico Matias Cruz was born in Arayat, Pampanga in the Philippines. Matias Cruz earned an associate degree from Harry S Truman College in 2015 and a bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University in 2009. His professional experience includes working as a consultant. Matias Cruz served in the U.S. Army from 2006 to 2017.[1]

I, Jerico Matias Cruz, am the U.S. Representative Candidate, IL-5th Congressional District for the Illinois Primary Election on March 2024 and eventually for the General Election on November 2024. I am a combat veteran of the United States Army Special Operations and the Illinois Army National Guard. I am a consultant and an entrepreneur.

Human Action: A Treatise on Economics is a work by the Austrian economist and philosopher Ludwig von Mises; and other books related to poetry. I will answer the "why" in-person or whenever you meet me.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

I strongly support term limits in any government elected position, whether it is local, state, or federal.
