In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I was born and raised in St. Xavier, Montana. After graduating high school I worked across the US and internationally in agriculture and shipping before coming home to farm in St. Xavier.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Energy production should benefit Montanans. Yellowstone and Big Horn County are major energy hubs within the state of Montana. Ensuring that energy production is unleashed for local benefit is my top concern.Montanans deserve safe neighborhoods and safe communities. Big Horn and Yellowstone county have made great strides in addressing safety concerns in their communities. Working to continue this trend might look like a new detention facility to ease existing crowding issues or community development projects.Growing up on a farm and ranch I will stand by Montana agriculture and Montana producers. This means expanding our noxious weeds list or supporting Montanans' right to repair.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Agriculture. I have worked on ranches in New Zealand and Australia, both of which operate under different policy regimes. Policy makers will often look to other states, or countries, to inform and motivate the policy they propose. Having worked under these differing policies regimes motivates me to look out for Montanans’ interests at the policy level.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
I have not solicited any endorsements.
