In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I was born into an Air Force family and raised by educators, so service and community were instilled in me early. I grew up overseas before returning to the U.S. for college and earning my law degree.

For over 20 years, I have served as a prosecutor in the Fifth and Sixteenth Circuit Solicitor's Offices, advocating for people who often meet me at the lowest point in their lives. I helped build the Domestic Violence Unit, worked with community partners on intervention programs, and helped develop protocols that strengthened how we respond to our most serious challenges.

I have been fortunate to serve in several roles outside the courtroom: with the York County Bar Association, the SC Women Lawyers Association, and Her Place, which supports women in our community. I also stay close to what matters most locally, volunteering with Fort Mill parks and rec and serving on the School Improvement Council at Sugar Creek Elementary, while continuing to be an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

But most importantly, I am a mom of two daughters growing up in Fort Mill. Like so many families here, we balance school, sports, church, and service every single day. Fort Mill isn't just where we live, it's where we put down roots. That's what drives everything I do.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Safer Communities: As a prosecutor for 25 years, I have spent my career protecting victims and working inside the criminal justice system. I know what works and what needs to work better. I will bring that experience to Fort Mill, supporting law enforcement while ensuring officers have the training, mental health resources, and crisis intervention tools to respond to every situation the right way.Smarter Government: Stop the Performative Politics

because Fort Mill families deserve a representative who keeps tax dollars focused on what actually matters: strong schools, safe roads, and smart infrastructure. I will push back on wasteful and performative policies coming out of Columbia and bring discipline to how York County's money gets spent.Stronger Fort Mill: Fort Mill is growing fast, and growth without accountability threatens everything that makes this community special. I will fight for responsible development, protect neighborhoods and schools from dangerous industrial encroachment, and preserve the safe, welcoming spirit that brought families here in the first place.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Public safety and victim advocacy are where my passion runs deepest. Twenty-five years as a prosecutor showed me what works and what doesn't, and I helped build our Domestic Violence Unit because real protection requires real systems, not just rhetoric.

I'm also passionate about government accountability and responsible growth. Having watched Fort Mill change rapidly, I care deeply about making sure development decisions are transparent and that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.

And as a mom of two daughters in Fort Mill schools, public education is personal to me, not a platform position.
