In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in Soda Springs and graduated in 2000. After graduation, I pursued higher education at Idaho State University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2005 and another bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2010. Continuing my academic journey, I completed a master's degree in Social Work at Boise State University in 2012. My professional experience includes eight years as a clinical director in substance abuse and mental health treatment for an agency in Pocatello. Currently, I am the owner of two small businesses.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Pocatello deserves representatives who listen to their constituents, represent the district with integrity, and work diligently to find solutions that serve the community’s best interests. I am committed to engaging with community members, hearing their perspectives, and ensuring their voices are reflected in the decisions that shape our future.I have spent years working with families and small businesses here in Southeast Idaho, and know that decisions made closest to home are the ones that serve people best. I’m focused on strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local leadership, and making sure government listens to the people it serves. As a lifelong resident of Idaho, I am deeply invested in the well-being and future of our state and community. My experience and connection to Idaho have shaped my understanding of the challenges we face and the importance of thoughtful leadership.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Education is one of my top priorities and I strong public schools, universities, and workforce training programs so Idaho kids can build their futures right here at home.
As a small business owner, I understand the importance of reducing unnecessary government overreach. I want Idaho’s economy to grow from the ground up by helping local businesses thrive and create jobs.
I also believe safe communities are essential. I support our law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMS teams, and want to ensure they have the resources they need to keep neighborhoods safe.
I am committed to protecting Idaho’s land, water, and agricultural heritage —Keeping public lands in public and preserving what makes Idaho special for future generations.
