In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am Jennifer Massey, a mother, community leader, and longtime advocate who believes leadership starts with listening, serving, and showing up for the people you represent. With more than 20 years of leadership and management experience, including serving veterans and advocating for safer, stronger communities, I have dedicated my life to helping others and creating opportunities for people to thrive. I am running for Florida House District 84 because I believe our community deserves a representative who will listen to its people, stand up for their needs, and turn their voices into action.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordability: Florida families deserve to live and thrive without being priced out of their communities, and I will fight to make housing, insurance, groceries and everyday necessities more affordable.Healthcare: Healthcare sustains our quality of life and should be affordable and accessible to everyone, so no one has to choose between getting the care they need and financial security.Education: Every child deserves a quality education, and that starts with investing in our schools and ensuring teachers and support staff have the resources they need to help every student succeed.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about expanding economic opportunity, ensuring access to quality and affordable healthcare, and strengthening public education while supporting policies like the Live Local Act that address housing affordability and protect local communities.
