Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Jennifer Davis, a trailblazing entrepreneur and political outsider, is running for Illinois’ 8th Congressional District to bring common-sense business practices and family-first values to Washington. At just 17, she co-founded Davisware with her husband, Dan, and grew it into a global leader in the field of service technology. Her best-selling book, Living Exponentially in Life and Business, shares her blueprint for building success without sacrificing joy.
Rooted in the rural values of hard work, faith, and family, Jennifer has led with grit and generosity—as a mother of ten, a coach of dozens of youth teams, and a community servant. After guiding Davisware through the pandemic and partnering with Serent Capital, she launched BExponential to help women thrive personally and professionally.
Now, Jennifer is bringing her proven record of building from scratch to Congress. She’ll cut red tape, champion small businesses, and support families with practical, common-sense solutions. With a servant’s heart and a record of results, Jennifer Davis will bring fresh leadership to Washington—focused on empowering entrepreneurs, strengthening communities, and securing a brighter future for the next generation.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
The top issue in Illinois’ 8th District is affordability. Families, young adults, and seniors are struggling to afford basics amid rising costs.
Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson keep raising taxes, taking more from hardworking people and forcing tough choices on housing, groceries, and healthcare. This has to stop.
As your Congresswoman, I’ll make life affordable: cutting federal taxes on working families, easing regulations that hurt small businesses and entrepreneurs, and passing policies that lower living costs—so you keep more of your money and can thrive.
We need common-sense solutions to support families, empower entrepreneurs, and restore the American Dream.Small businesses employ 44% of Illinois’ workforce but struggle with high taxes, red tape, and limited capital—why 8 in 10 fail.
Jennifer Davis, a proven entrepreneur who built a global software company right here in the district and helped hundreds more grow, will deliver real results: cutting burdensome taxes, streamlining regulations, and unlocking growth through community partnerships and smart tax incentives. In Congress, she’ll champion policies that help businesses thrive, create local jobs, and keep families close—no more parents driving to O’Hare just to see their kids and grandkids. Jennifer brings firsthand business experience to put the 8th District’s families and Main Street first.America faces nearly 2 cyberattacks per person daily—unprecedented and rising. These threats hit home, targeting kids and the elderly via predators, scammers, and hostile actors exploiting trust. I will partner with the President, Congress, and innovators to pass laws creating a Digital Dome—a national shield expanding defense to protect families, communities, and our military from cyberattacks, online predators, and manipulation. No surveillance or control—just real security for freedom. She’ll also drive energy independence by expanding U.S. oil, gas, and renewables, cutting reliance on adversaries, strengthening our economy, and saving Illinois families at the pump.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
As a tech entrepreneur and mom of 10 from IL-8, I've built a global software company right here in our district. Foreign adversaries like China, Russia, and Iran attack our homes daily through phones and computers—stealing data, spying on families, threatening our kids and way of life. That's why I'm working to pass a Digital Dome: a strong, America-first shield to protect our children, secure our devices, and defend our freedoms from these relentless cyber threats. In Congress, I'll use real tech experience to strengthen defenses, hold bad actors accountable, and put families first.

Campaign websiteDavis' campaign website stated the following:1. Revive Main Street America:We must end Over-taxation, crippling regulations, and inflation which is suffocating small businesses, and causing Main Street America to slowly close. Jennifer believes as a businesswoman, political outsider, and successful investor in startups that we must start empowering entrepreneurial families to thrive, innovate, and grow.2. Ensure Safe Communities:JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson have failed Illinois families — doing little to nothing to address crime in our state, cities, and communities. Jennifer will restore the rule of law, enforce existing laws, and bring back the safety and vibrancy every community deserves. 3. Restore Education & Parental Rights:Put parents back in the driver’s seat as their children’s first educators, with schools as partners—not substitutes. Keep classrooms free from ideological agendas, return to core academics, and open pathways that prepare every child for success—whether through college, trades, or entrepreneurship.4. Promote the American Dream:Create opportunities for all—especially the next generation—to pursue prosperity through hard work, sacrifice, and innovation. Illinois’ best export should not be our kids; they deserve the chance to build their American Dream right here at home, in the communities where they were raised. 5. Secure Borders with Immigration Reform:Advance good, fair, and orderly immigration policies that protect American workers, strengthen communities, and reflect our heritage as a nation of immigrants. Jennifer will work to bring meaningful, long-term reform that keeps our borders secure while welcoming those who come here legally to pursue the American Dream. 6. Safeguard Data and National Security:Foreign adversaries like China and Iran are using the internet to steal from us, divide us, and target our kids. Jennifer’s expertise as a tech founder gives her the vision to stop these threats, protect families’ privacy, and advance America’s security and energy independence. — Jennifer Davis' campaign website (February 11, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
