Jennie Earl
I love representing Northern Utah on the Utah State Board of Education. I have worked to implement practical, common-sense approaches to education policy—the kind that actually work in real classrooms. My focus is on helping schools better support students and families by staying grounded in what makes the greatest impact on student learning. I have worked to improve the resources available for educators including classroom funding, professional time, and easier licensing procedures.
I’m passionate about improving student outcomes by tackling real challenges schools face today including: effective instruction, better standards, technology use, behavior management, and school safety. I’m guided by a strong belief that clear expectations, knowledge-rich curriculum, and better communication between families and educators can truly make a difference for students across Utah.
I hold a master’s degree in education from Weber State University and have taught special education and currently teach middle school math (my favorite part of the day). I help families meet the educational needs of their children.
I have spent time advocating for sound technology policy within the state.
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue to improve education in Utah and look forward to earning your vote this fall.
