In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I'm Jenn Jennings, a wife, mom of three, Realtor, Executive Director of the Connecticut Heating & Cooling Contractors Association, and a member of the Glastonbury Board of Education. I'm also someone who believes the best ideas begin by listening.
For more than twenty years, I've worked alongside Connecticut's skilled trades workforce, advocating for apprenticeships, career pathways, small businesses, and the blue-collar professionals who keep our state running. As a Realtor, I've helped families achieve homeownership and invest in their communities.
Serving on the Board of Education has reinforced my belief that leadership means asking tough questions, studying the details, and making informed decisions that put students first while remembering every public dollar belongs to the taxpayer. Good government should be measured by results, stewardship, and opportunity, not simply by good intentions.
I'm proud to be the Republican-endorsed candidate for Connecticut's 4th Senate District, but my campaign is built on People Over Politics and Outcomes Over Optics. I didn't run to become a career politician or to represent a political party—I ran to represent the people of Andover, Bolton, Glastonbury, and Manchester. Whether we're talking around a kitchen table, at a hockey rink, a local coffee shop, or walking through one of our communities, I believe representation begins the same way: by listening first, earning trust, and never forgetting who you're elected to serve.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
People Over Politics. Outcomes Over Optics.
I'm not interested in political theater or partisan talking points. I believe government should be transparent, accountable, and focused on measurable results. Every policy should answer a few simple questions: Does it solve a real problem? Is government the right solution? Can we measure the outcome? Are taxpayers receiving value? I will ask tough questions, study the details, protect every public dollar, and always remember that my responsibility is to represent the people, not politics.Prosperity Should Be Within Reach
I believe a lifetime of hard work should lead to greater security, not greater financial uncertainty. People who have worked, saved, paid off their homes, and invested in their communities shouldn't be taxed out of the very life they built. Government must learn to do more with less by focusing on its core responsibilities, eliminating waste, measuring results, and respecting every taxpayer dollar. Our goal shouldn't be to grow government, it should be to grow opportunity, so more people can achieve independence, build wealth, and leave a legacy for the next generation here in Connecticut.Healthy Communities Start with Healthy Choices
I believe one of the greatest investments we can make is helping people live healthier lives. The foods we grow, what's on our grocery store shelves, what we serve in our schools, and the habits we teach our children all shape our future. We should support Connecticut agriculture, encourage active lifestyles, and make nutrition and wellness part of everyday life. We will always need excellent medical care, but we also need to invest more in helping people stay healthy in the first place. A healthier Connecticut begins long before someone walks into a doctor's office.
