To return as much of our tax dollars as possible to my district. You must also use biblical values and common sense

To work together. It is the Legislators’ job to prepare the Budget and write Laws, not the Governor’s

Yes. I have 24 years total.

It’s the only way to get things done. Nobody passes a bill by themselves

Both sitting legislators and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

So many tragic stories from COVID and unemployment issues. People are struggling because of poor decisions in Washington DC

Should the legislature oversee or grant the use of emergency powers?

Yes. In the last budget, the Legislature is now part of the process.

What is the first bill you would introduce if elected?

Major overhaul of the DMV
