Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am running for NH State Representative because the country in general and New Hampshire in particular, are moving toward one-party rule. The Supreme Court is pushing abortion rights back to the states and I want to preserve a reproductive rights, and to do that Democrats need a majority in the state house. I aIso want to see more action on gun safety and climate policy.

My involvement with local politics started when I volunteered to be on the town Energy Commission and eventually became the chair. I saw that there was a lot more that could be done with effective state laws, but there was too much resistance to good policy at the state capitol.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Reproductive rights should be restored and codified to keep government out of these deeply personal decisions.America's epidemic of gun violence needs to be addressed with common sense gun safety legislation. The LGBTQ+ community is being used as a culture war pawn. This community deserves respect and must keep the rights they have earned.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Climate change is an existential crisis for the entire planet. We must work together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and work toward a sustainable economy.
