In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Jeff Warren, and I am running for Pennsylvania State Representative in the 137th District. I currently serve as a Commissioner in Northampton County and have spent my career serving the people of the Lehigh Valley.

Over the last three decades, I have worked at every level of government, including serving on Easton City Council, the Hanover Township Board of Supervisors, and as a staff member for State Senator Lisa Boscola. I currently work for CASA SHaW, a nonprofit organization that advocates for children in foster care.

My wife Michelle and I live in Bethlehem Township and are raising our twin daughters here in Northampton County. I am running because I believe working families deserve a representative who understands their challenges and will fight for practical solutions that improve everyday life.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Families across Northampton County are struggling with the rising cost of living. From groceries and healthcare to housing and utility bills, too many people are finding it harder to get ahead. Jeff will work to lower costs for working families, protect access to affordable healthcare, support good-paying jobs, and make sure large corporations pay their fair share. Our communities deserve responsible growth that protects our quality of life. Jeff will work to address concerns about warehouses, data centers, traffic, and infrastructure while preserving open space and farmland. Economic development should benefit local residents and businesses without shifting costs onto families and ratepayers.Strong public schools are essential to strong communities. Jeff will fight for fair school funding, greater accountability for cyber charter schools, and investments that support students, teachers, and families. By increasing state support for education, we can reduce pressure on local property taxpayers while giving our children the opportunities they deserve.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about making government work for everyday people. That includes lowering costs for working families, supporting public education, protecting access to healthcare, preserving open space, promoting responsible economic development, and advocating for children and families. Through my work in local government and with CASA SHaW, I have seen firsthand how public policy affects people's lives, and I believe elected officials should focus on practical solutions that strengthen our communities and create opportunity for everyone.
