In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a businessman, investor, and lifelong conservative with more than 40 years of experience in finance, commodities, investing, and venture capital. Over the course of my career, I have managed risk, analyzed markets, built businesses, and made responsible financial decisions in both strong and challenging economic environments. That real-world financial experience is exactly what Nevada needs in its next State Treasurer.

I’m running because I believe taxpayer dollars should be treated with the same discipline, accountability, and common sense that families and businesses apply to their own finances every day. Nevada deserves a Treasurer who understands financial management not from a textbook, but from decades of firsthand experience in the private sector.

I believe strongly in conservative principles, fiscal responsibility, and transparency in public office. I’m not a career politician, I'm someone who has spent a lifetime working in finance and problem solving, and I want to bring that experience to serve the people of Nevada.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Nevada deserves a State Treasurer with real financial experience. My background in finance, investing, and venture capital gives me the knowledge and practical experience needed to responsibly manage taxpayer dollars and safeguard Nevada’s financial future.I am a lifelong conservative committed to accountability, transparency, and fiscal discipline. Taxpayer money should be protected, investments should be managed responsibly, and government should operate with professionalism and integrity.I believe leadership matters. Nevada needs a Treasurer who understands both the financial challenges facing our state and the real-world impact government decisions have on working families, businesses, and future generations. I will bring steady, experienced leadership to the office. Elect a pro, not a politician.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and protecting taxpayers. I believe government works best when it lives within its means, spends responsibly, and focuses on creating an environment where businesses, families, and workers can succeed.

I’m passionate about financial literacy and helping people better understand saving, investing, and long-term financial planning. The Treasurer’s Office plays an important role not only in managing state finances, but also in programs that help Nevadans prepare for their futures. I support policies that encourage economic development and private sector growth. Nevada’s economy succeeds when businesses are able to invest, expand, and create jobs without excessive government waste.
