Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Belle’s position on Affordability and Cost of Living
I support pro-housing supply, deregulation, and tax restraint over increasing taxes or restricting development to make living costs affordable.
Chula Vista’s mayor, McCann, has a pragmatic housing affordability and cost of living plan which I will support with expedited federal funding.
Build more housing to increase supply and lower costs. Passed legislation to prohibit major corporations, private equity firms and China from investing in housing.
Support streamlining permitting, reduce bureaucracy/regulations- which are local government issue under most conditions.
Support federal housing-partnership programs that fund infrastructure for new housing in the South Bay.Reduce Regulatory and Tax Burdens
and support affordability legislation packages emphasize lowering costs through reduced government spending and regulation.
Support tax-relief measures for working families and small businesses in the South Bay.
Moreover, introduce legislation that ensures tax reliefs for veterans and senior citizens. Also expand and protect services for veteran and senior citizens.
Invest in border-community infrastructure that affects South Bay’s economy and quality of life including updating military housing and military base facilities and infrastructure.
Finally, advocate for fiscal responsibility to curb inflation-driven cost increases at the federal level. My position supports secure borders, faster legal immigration, due process in asylum, respect human dignity, and earned legal “First Priority”status for long-term illegal immigrants who contribute to America.”
1- secure the border, 2-fix the legal system, 3- protect rights, and 4-create legal pathways that let people contribute openly rather than forcing them into the shadows.
My Freedom -based immigration platform argues that a country is strongest when it combines -[orderly borders]with [lawful opportunity.]
Emphasis upon enforcement against illegal entry and fraud while also supporting legal status, and work authorization.
Overhaul SBA and create a Main Street Small Business Bailout funded by Banks, Automakers and Airlines.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Protecting veterans, senior citizens, small business, families and churches.
Authoring legislation to streamline immigration processing (60 days) for eligible “First-Priority” status immigrants.
Push for federal grants targeting affordable homebuilding and down-payment assistance for first-time buyers.
Authoring legislation that prohibits members of Congress from receiving pay during federal government shutdowns.
Term limits for Congressional members.
Moreover, introduce legislation that provides tax reliefs for veterans and senior citizens.
Also support Special Needs Children School Choice, and Title 1.
Require better accountability for federal funding of CDBG and EDBG grants including grants for homelessness and to NGO’s.
