In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m running because Michigan needs a new generation of leadership—people who understand the challenges ahead and who are ready to work with every generation to move the state forward. Combining fresh perspectives with long-standing experience leads to better outcomes for the people we serve. That collaborative approach is the kind of leadership I will bring to Lansing.
For years, I’ve seen friends, classmates, and young families leave Michigan for greater economic opportunity. It’s a reminder that our state can, and must do better. I’ve experienced many of the same challenges, and I want to support those who hope to build their lives and futures here at home through common sense legislation.
In Lansing, I will prioritize: local control, less government regulation on small businesses and agriculture, government to constituent transparency, the economic opportunities for future generations, local issues with local solutions, and budget oversight to eliminate waste in our state budget.
My faith and my fiscally conservative values will guide every decision I make within the House of Representatives. These principles keep me grounded, reminding me to act with integrity, steward our resources responsibly, and stay focused on serving our community towards an opportunistic future.
