Jason Purviance earned a high school diploma from Lakota East High School, an associate degree from the Lincoln College of Technology in 2002, and an associate degree from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 2013. His career experience includes working as a mechanic.[1]

Jason Purviance is a resident of Fairfield Township, Ohio, where he lives with his wife and son. He was traveled to 4 contents working as aircraft mechanic. He is involved in his local community and recently appointed member of the Fairfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals.

Jason values personal responsibility, hard work, and family ties. He is a graduate of Cincinnati State Technical and brings hands-on experience from his career in aviation maintenance to his service in District 47.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

My foremost commitment as your representative for Ohio House District 47 will be protecting the personal liberties that define a free Ohio. Government should safeguard rights, not erode them through constant overreach. Across the district families face growing rules that intrude on private choices, property decisions, and everyday life. Too often, decisions made in Columbus treat hardworking Ohioans like we need endless supervision rather than the freedom to live responsibly.Ohio's state budget has ballooned with spending on programs that don't deliver value to everyday families. Hardworking tax payers should keep more of their earnings rather than see them vanish into waste and inefficiency.

Too many decisions in the Statehouse favor special interests and unnecessary expansions over the people paying the bills. Rising costs combined with high taxes squeeze families who already live paycheck to paycheck. I will fight for accountability on every dollar and push for meaningful cuts to non-essential programs that drain resources without helping our communities.I will work to stop the surveillance state and protect the privacy every Ohioan deserves. Government increasingly uses technology and data collection to monitor citizens without real oversight, turning free people into tracked subjects and eroding trust.

Across the district families feel the impact of expanding surveillance. We pass by license-plate readers daily and facial recognition to data-sharing programs that lack strong limits. These intrusions threaten personal freedom and invite abuse from distant bureaucrats.
