Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Jason is running to represent you and your family in the Minnesota Senate because our rural communities deserve strong, honest representation. He will bring common sense, practical experience, and a working-class voice to St. Paul. Jason loves his small town and being a farmer. Jason is passionate about hard work and respects this community and our land. He is already serving his community on the Zumbrota-Mazeppa School Board, the Goodhue County Education District Board, Zumbrota Township Board, and Fireboard. Jason is committed to strong schools for our kids, better rural infrastructure, support of small farms and small businesses, and support for Veterans.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I will always work for the people of my district, not myself or my party.I want to support policies to make life more affordable and better for the people.I am a blue collar worker, farmer, and public servant and a common sense kind of guy who will bring rural issues forward in the legislature to ensure rural Minnesota doesn't get left behind.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Fully funding prek-12 and special education, increasing rural infrastructure, supporting small farms and business, and Veterans.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
MN DFL, DFL Rural Caucus, AFL-CIO, AFSCME, DFL Environmental Caucus, Stonewall DFL, and I earned recognition from the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate.
