Jason Barr served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1992 to 2003. Barr earned an associate degree from WVU Parkersburg in 1994 and a second associate degree from WVU Parkersburg in 2023. Barr's career experience includes working in construction.[1]

I am pro-labor and pro-public education

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I am not influenced by special interestsI advocate and support policy that helps regular working class citizens.I do not entertain frivolous social issues that only serve to divide and distract from the issues that affect our daily lives.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Repealing so-called “right to work”

Reinstating prevailing wage for public funded construction projects.

Fund and protect public education from the systematic dismantling by for profit entities. Prevent privatization of government services schemes.
