Jamie Jeffery

Jamie Jeffery earned a bachelor's degree from Boise State University in 1995, a graduate degree from the University of Idaho in 2001, and a graduate degree from the University of Idaho in 2006. Jeffery's career experience includes working as a dean.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I have been an educator for 31 years. I am the mother of three children, and I currently serve as the Mayor of Lochbuie, Colorado. I am passionate about public education, human rights, and adequate food and shelter for all. I believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Jamie is a Colorado native with Colorado roots over 100 years old. She believes in being involved in and giving back to her community.Jamie believes that everyone in Colorado should have access to affordable housing and basic human needs.I am down to earth, love to spend time outside, and I am not a typical political candidate. I am smart and driven and will to work hard and learn new things.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Mental health, education, equity, human rights, health insurance, and access to affordable housing and food are several areas that I am personally passionate about.
