Peshlakai's campaign website highlighted the following issues:
Education
I will work for you to restore educational funding for our children. Arizona must to stop cutting the budget of k-12, higher education, and training programs while funding private prisons as a business.
Environment
Protecting our environment is key to my proactive participation as a mother, community member and leader. I am committed to protecting our environment for future generations.
Workforce
We must attract good employers to Arizona that will create a better economic environment for families and our communities. This is especially true for rural Arizona.[12]
