In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am the owner of a small business software company. I have spent my career listening to others to understand their needs and how to help them in the best way and then developing solutions to match.

In my personal life I have tried to live my father's motto: be kind. I have learned that it really matters how we talk about and treat others.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

People matter.Utahns have the answers to the problems that face us. We just to need to listen.Listening includes all groups of people, including those we disagree with. The best solutions are found when all have meaningful input and are valued.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

The United States Constitution assigns the administration of elections to the States. I want ensure that all elections in Utah, whether federal, state, or local, are properly administered by Utah election officials.

I have also seen the difficulties Utahns have in accessing health care and health insurance that Utah has promised to provide.

I am also concerned about the Great Salt Lake and water usage in general. I believe that we should do what we can to help the Great Salt Lake. This might take the form of changes to water rights, improved agricultural practices, or other efforts. We should leverage the expertise of our state universities to join with the public in forming solutions.
