In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m a husband, father, educator, man of faith, and lifelong Delawarean who has built his life around service. Delaware is where I grew up, built my family, and committed my career to helping young people grow into thoughtful, capable citizens. In my work as a public school educator and college educator, I’ve stood beside families across our communities—listening, advocating, and supporting them through challenges and successes.

My own education reflects that same commitment to growth: an Associate’s in Business Administration from Delaware Tech, a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in Education from Wilmington University, and now doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Delaware State University.

I’m motivated by a simple belief: people deserve to be heard. I value listening, asking honest questions, working collaboratively, and advocating for what strengthens our communities and improves quality of life for the families who call the 9th District home.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

High-Quality Education:

We must champion an education system that is fiscally responsible and puts students first - one where students have access to the resources, support, and stability they need to thrive.Cost of Living (Affordability):

Families deserve a Delaware where the cost of living does not outpace our ability to build a life. This requires responsible spending, policies that attract high-quality jobs, and a business climate that encourages innovation and growth.Balanced Government:

Policies and laws that truly reflect the needs, values, and best interests of the people cannot be achieved through a single supermajority alone. They are best shaped through the meaningful debate, rigorous scrutiny, thoughtful questioning, and genuine compromise that occurs with a more balanced Delaware General Assembly.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

As a lifelong educator, I am deeply passionate about public policies that shape our education system and impact the students, families, and communities it serves.
