Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I'm a lifelong Tampa resident, community leader, and advocate who has dedicated my life to strengthening families and creating opportunities across our neighborhoods. Born in Sulphur Springs and raised in Tampa. I am a mother, grandmother, daughter and family member to some of the most caring people in the world. My commitment to service is deeply rooted in the people and places that shaped me.

A graduate of Hillsborough High School, I continued my education at the University of Florida and earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Moody Bible Institute. I also hold a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Tampa

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I'm passionate about policies that remove barriers and create opportunities for our communities and beyond. Whether it's helping a young person find a career pathway, making housing more attainable, supporting seniors and caregivers, strengthening our workforce, or investing in neighborhoods, my focus is on ensuring every resident has an opportunity to succeed. Creating policy that connects people to resources that improve their quality of life
