In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a husband, father, educator, and scientist running for Congress because I believe public office is a responsibility, not a privilege.
I hold a Ph.D. in chemistry and have taught at the high-school, community-college, and university levels. My experience as an educator has taught me the importance of critical thinking, practical problem-solving, and giving people the knowledge and skills they need to build productive lives. As a husband and father raising six children, I understand the importance of strong families, personal responsibility, sacrifice, and service.
My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my personal values. I believe strong families build strong communities, and strong communities build a strong nation. Government should serve people without attempting to replace families, communities, churches, charities, or individual responsibility.
I am committed to defending the Constitution, protecting individual liberty and religious freedom, expanding educational and economic opportunity, improving healthcare affordability and transparency, strengthening communities, and holding government accountable to the people.
I do not claim to have every answer. I believe leadership requires humility, integrity, careful study, listening to others, and the willingness to accept responsibility for difficult decisions. My goal is to serve Arizona with honesty, conviction, and a commitment to building a stronger future for the next generation.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Strong families build strong communities, and strong communities build a strong nation. Government should strengthen—not replace—families, churches, charities, and local communities. I support community-based networks that help families through temporary challenges, with government providing seed funding and infrastructure while communities ultimately take ownership and become self-sustaining.Government exists to serve the people, not the other way around. I support constitutional limits on federal power, individual liberty, religious freedom, parental rights, private property, and government accountability. Americans should have the freedom to make decisions for themselves and their families while accepting the personal responsibility that comes with liberty.Every American should have a pathway to build a productive and secure future. I support educational choice, affordable community-college and workforce opportunities, technical training, healthcare focused on patients, economic opportunity, and retirement reform that encourages individual ownership. Government should remove unnecessary barriers and help create the conditions where Americans can work, learn, build, and provide for their families.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am especially passionate about education, families, healthcare, constitutional government, and economic opportunity. As an educator, I want to expand educational choice and create better pathways from high school into college, technical training, and careers. As a father, I believe strong families and communities are essential to a strong nation. As a scientist, I value evidence, innovation, and practical solutions. I am also passionate about protecting individual liberty, strengthening constitutional government, reducing unnecessary government spending and bureaucracy, and creating opportunities for Americans to build a secure future.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
At this time, I do not have any formal organizational or individual endorsements to report. My campaign is focused on building support among the people of Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District and earning their trust through service, integrity, and a clear commitment to faith, freedom, family, responsibility, and opportunity.
