In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a licensed mental health therapist, small business owner, and lifelong Oklahoman running to represent House District 47. I opened my private practice in 2021 because I believe every person deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based care close to home. I specialize in trauma therapy, and I work every day with children, adolescents, and adults across Oklahoma.
I am running because the challenges I see in my therapy office are the same challenges families face across our district. Rising costs, underfunded schools, and limited access to healthcare place enormous pressure on working and middle-class families.
District 47 deserves as Representative who fights for working and middle-class families and who understands how policy decisions effect real lives. I want to bring real world mental health experience, evidence-based decision making, and steady leadership into the State Legislature.
My approach to public service is grounded in courage, compassion, and community. I believe in meeting people where they are, building trust through honest conversations, and focusing on solutions that strengthen families and communities. I am committed to representing every neighbor in District 47 with respect and integrity.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I will fight to lower healthcare costs and increase access to mental healthcare.I will fight to strengthen our public schools and increase teacher pay, so that every Oklahoma student receives a world class education regardless of their zip code, and so that teachers are respected and paid fairly.I will fight for practical cost of living and tax relief solutions for working and middle-class families, so that every Oklahoman has a chance to not just survive, but to truly thrive. My goal is to make it easier for people in District 47 and all of Oklahoma to build stability, support their families, and stay rooted in the communities they love.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about mental health access, public education, and economic stability for working families. As a therapist, I see how financial stress, school underfunding, and limited healthcare options affect daily life. I want to strengthen the systems families rely on by expanding access to care, improving school resources, and supporting policies that reduce economic strain. My focus is on practical, community centered solutions that help people feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
