Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am average citizen who is passionate about the growth and development of Tucker and can relate to your issues. I am reachable and am passionate when listening to the things that matter to the community. Not only have I grown up in the community, but I have also watched Tucker develop, grow, and become more diverse over the years.

I am a Public Health doctoral candidate, biomedical research scientist, youth development coach, and parent and community advocate. As our District 86 Representative, I recognize the need for inclusion at the Capitol that reflects the interests of the diverse families, businesses, and underserved populations in the district. We deserve leadership that can relate to the needs of our growing community and will articulate those concerns to obtain quantifiable results.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I am dedicated to working hard to understand and address the issues of my constituents. Those who voted for me and those who didn't.My background in research science and public health help me delve deep into data and facts while drafting and fighting for or against legislation.Improving the health, well-being, and futures for our youth and for all Georgian's has been and will continue to be my goal while being blessed to serve as State Representative for house district 86.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Universal free school meals for students K-12, working class (affordable) housing, workforce development, and healthcare expansion.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Never forgetting that you were elected by the people and it's your duty to work hard for those same people.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

The Great American Cookie Company in North DeKalb Mall. I grew up in DeKalb County and have watched it's growth since my childhood. It's amazing to be able to serve and give back to a community who gave to me.

What is the first bill you would introduce if elected?

I will continue to try to pass legislation to grant free school meals to all students in K-12.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

Georgia Equality, Human Rights Campaign (HRC), 314 Action, GA Win List, The Collective PAC, The SAFE Communities Coalition & Action Fund, Victory Fund, LPAC, Vote Mama PAC.
