In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of my community who understands the economic pressures many working families face. During my time in the Air Force, I served on a Tactical Response Force, where I learned the importance of discipline, responsibility, and service to something larger than myself.
Like many people, I have worked hard while navigating the same financial pressures that affect households across Ohio. Those experiences shaped my belief that government should work for ordinary people and focus on practical solutions to real problems.
I have also spent time engaging with residents and participating in community and civic life, which has reinforced the importance of listening to people and understanding the real-world impact of public policy decisions.
I decided to run for the Ohio House of Representatives because I believe regular people deserve representation that understands their challenges and is committed to improving the economic security and well-being of the communities they serve.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Protect Your Wallet: Ohio families are being squeezed by rising costs for housing, utilities, and everyday necessities. My priority is supporting responsible policies that stabilize costs, provide property tax relief, and ensure government decisions reduce financial pressure on working families rather than increase it.Protect Your Health: Communities depend on accessible healthcare and strong local health services. I support policies that protect healthcare access, strengthen community hospitals and local providers, and work to control rising prescription drug and insurance costs.Protect Your Family: Strong communities depend on reliable public safety, job security, stable emergency services, and local food systems. I support policies that keep police, fire, and EMS services strong, support family farms and local food access, and ensure communities remain safe and stable places to raise a family.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am especially interested in public policies that affect the economic security and well-being of working families. Across Ohio, many households face rising costs and financial pressure that make it difficult to get ahead. Government should focus on practical policies that strengthen economic stability for the people it serves.
Education policy is another priority. A strong and accessible education system creates opportunity and prepares students for the future. Ensuring schools are properly funded and higher education remains affordable strengthens communities and our workforce.
I am also interested in policies that support stable communities, including access to healthcare, strong infrastructure, and responsible fiscal policy.
