As a single mother who raised three daughters, my dedication to my family is reflected in the remarkable achievements of my children. Brooke served as President Trump’s Policy Director in the White House and is now President of the AMERICA FIRST Policy Institute, the foremost conservative think tank in America. Helen Jr is currently excelling as the Principal at Glen Rose Intermediate School, and Ann is a distinguished professor at the TCU Business School MBA Program. My decades-long record of service includes experience as a small business owner and entrepreneur, as well as Mayor of Glen Rose, first Republican Somervell County Commissioner, North Texas Council of Governments Executive Board (16 counties), Texas A&M Outstanding Service Award, 4-H Superintendent, and FFA Horse Judging Coach. I bring a wealth of experience to the Texas House of Representatives. I have consistently navigated the complexities of governance while advocating for the needs of my fellow citizens with an unwavering commitment to CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES and FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY."

Passionate about policy in education and advocating for educational freedom, I am deeply committed to fostering an educational system that empowers students and promotes innovation. I believe in policies that provide families with choices, ensuring that every child has access to an education that aligns with their unique needs and aspirations. Simultaneously, I recognize the importance of robust border security measures to safeguard our communities and uphold the principles of safety and sovereignty. Educational freedom and border security are integral aspects of my commitment to building a society that thrives on both individual empowerment and collective security. As we navigate the complexities of educational policy and border security, my passion is to champion initiatives that enhance the quality, accessibility, and inclusivity of education while ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities.
