Hannah Cole

Hannah Cole earned a high school diploma from Tahlequah High School. Cole earned Other education from the Indian Capital Technology Center in 2011. Her career experience includes working as a healthcare professional.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Hannah Cole was born at Hastings hospital and raised in Northeast Oklahoma. Cole grew up on a small hobby farm. Her father was a carpenter, and mother was a nurse. Many childhood days were spent on her grandparents' dairy farm, walking their gardens, and learning what it means to live close to the land.

Since moving back to her late father's land in Oklahoma, the need for community has grown with the heightened awareness for the preservation of the land, the wildlife within it, and the knowledge people hold alongside it.

Cole shares the values of the people who make up District 86. She believes in human decency, common sense, and justice in our government.

Protect rural land, water, and working families-

Defend the natural resources, farms, homes, and outdoor spaces that make Northeast Oklahoma livable for the next generation.Improve practical access to care-

Support rural clinics, nurses, emergency services, mental health access, and policies that reduce long drives and delays for basic care.Put community needs over party pressure-

Listen first, explain votes clearly, and focus on schools, roads, services, and household costs instead of political games.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Cole believes in funding public education and schools. No child should receive a lesser education because of their zip code. Cole will fight to fully fund Oklahoma rural public schools and oppose efforts to divert taxpayer dollars from public education into

private, for-profit systems.

On healthcare, Cole highlights the importance of Medicaid. As a nurse she has seen how essential it is to the health and dignity of our most vulnerable citizens. Any reduction of services threatens not only patients but also the survival of rural hospitals and nursing facilities. Cole will fight to protect and expand access to quality healthcare across Oklahoma.
