TEX FOR CONGRESS - WHAT MAGA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE

Hi Everyone, I'm Tex Bukowski and I'm running for Congress. 48 years old, Husband, Father, Immigrant's Son, Good Catholic, Entrepreneur, Small Business Owner, Tennis Player

I've been a resident of SWFL for 10+ years and really love it. The people have been so kind and welcoming to me and my family. I'm a small business owner in the community (restaurant & cleaning/restoration businesses). I'm a man of the people who understands the daily grind of people who work hard and who work with their hands. And I will work hard everyday in Congress to keep this area great.

We have a lot of problems in this country and I think the answer to almost all of our problems is to focus on "America First." I LOVE President Trump, but if I'm being honest I'm somewhat disappointed in his 2nd term. The talk is entertaining, but the bottom line is that we haven't gotten the big initiatives done.

Why are we fighting wars? Why haven't we secured our elections? Why haven't we drained the swamp? Why are prices still crazy high? Why haven't we arrested the deep state? Why are we covering up for Epstein? So many big, important things that haven't been done and we're almost out of time. This is a serious time and we need serious people in office to get things done.

TEX FOR CONGRESS - WHAT MAGA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

What MAGA was supposed to be. America First. No more talk. We need action. We need to get the BIG THINGS done before we run out of time.No more war. No more fraud. No more insider trading. No more high prices. Talk is cheap. Action, Action, Action.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Small business, bringing the jobs back, ending the massive fraud, improving our broken healthcare system, improving public education, securing our elections, draining the swamp, Epstein truth, DOGE, lower taxes, lower debts and deficits, locking up criminals, cleaning up our cities, MAHA

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

President Trump, Ronald Reagan, The Pope

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

smart, moral, unafraid, truth teller

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

making smart decisions and votes to protect America and future generations

What legacy would you like to leave?

I'd like to be known as having made a positive impact on America, Americans, the citizens of my district, and my daughters. I want everyone to understand that you don't have to be rich or connected to run for Congress. Anyone can do it in America and that's one of the most amazing things about this country.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Selling coins at my mom's antique shop. I've been an entrepreneur since I was a young boy!

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

I went through a difficult divorce that really took me by surprise. It took many years to get over it but when I did, I became very proud of myself for having gotten to the other side and rebuilt my life. It's a scar that I'm proud of.

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

It's the peoples' house. Direct connection to the American people.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

uncontrolled immigration, lack of manufacturing jobs, loss of jobs due to AI, inflation, high prices, war mongers

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Yes. There are many 80%+ support issues that Americans want done. It takes both parties to get them done.

What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?

The Challenger Disaster
