In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a first-generation American who has worked as a tradesman and homebuilder for the past twenty years. A devoted husband and father of two young men, I am a first-time candidate running for Congress to represent everyday “lunchbox Americans.” Having accepted the Republican and Independent Party nominations, I am committed to giving all working people throughout the district a voice at the table. My priorities are to restore affordability to my constituents, and all hardworking American families - but not only to the extent that we can afford to survive - but we need to thrive again. Restoration of the single-income household is my main focus.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

You earned your paycheck. You should keep more of it. I oppose “forever taxes” that keep charging families for property they already own. In Congress, I will fight for full deductibility of state and local taxes, tax relief for overtime earnings, and a larger capital-gains exclusion when people sell their primary home. I want a tax code that rewards work, helps families get ahead, and gives small businesses room to grow. Tax relief must come with spending discipline, transparent budgets, and accountability for waste. Washington should live within its means, just as families do.As a homebuilder and tradesman, I want working people to afford a home in the communities they help build and support. I support a first-time homebuyer tax credit, a larger capital-gains exclusion on primary-home sales, and removing unnecessary barriers to building starter homes and reasonably priced rentals. Young families should have a path to ownership, and seniors should be able to downsize without an unnecessary tax penalty. I will push to connect federal defense investment with workforce housing and infrastructure so workers can live near their jobs. We need more housing choices and a fair chance to build a life here.AI should serve people, not make people expendable. Parents should control their children’s use of AI, and companies should be accountable when their products exploit children or encourage dangerous behavior. Workers should know when AI affects their employment and have access to human review. Schools should use AI to support teachers, not replace them. I support independent safety testing and believe both AI companies and the government should have a kill switch. If AI gets out of control and threatens people, we need to be able to shut it down. We shouldn’t wait for that to happen before putting safeguards in place. Most members of Congress lack this sense of urgency that practically all Americans feel on this subject.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I’m a lunchbox American: a tradesman, homebuilder, husband, and father who knows what it means to decide what we can afford and what has to wait. That’s why I’m passionate about taxes, immigration, housing, and AI. I want working people to keep more of their paychecks and afford a home and a family. As a first-generation American, I believe in secure borders and a lawful immigration system that works. AI should protect our children and respect workers, with both companies and government having a kill switch if it threatens people. The American Dream should be something working families can afford, not just something politicians talk about.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

The Independent Party’s endorsement reflects the coalition we are building, supported by more than 4,000 valid petition signatures. I’m proud to be running with both the Republican and Independent Party nominations. I have also earned the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police, and I’m grateful for the trust of officers who put their safety on the line for our communities. This campaign is bringing together lunchbox Americans, people who think for themselves, who want to keep more of their paychecks, afford a home, and raise their families safely. I’m going to Washington to serve, not to be served.
