Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I have experience and have demonstrated how to have open and transparent government, cut wasteful spending, reduce the size of government, lower costs, and cut taxes. I provide more services at less cost. Created a veterans programs, expanded programs for children, families, seniors, along with addition assistance for disabled and those with mental health needs. Developed intergovernmental cooperation to promote efficiency.Return to our Constitutional Principles and Bill of Rights. Protect our liberties. Limited government that protects and defends our citizens. Promoting free enterprise, good jobs and safe streets. End the federal government’s control over health care and education. Let individuals have control over their lives and children. Support individual independence through vouchers.Promote and expand American energy. Educate the public on the success and benefits of our free enterprise system and the pitfall and failures of socialism.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
As a student of history and with experiences in politics and education: I have witnessed first hand the destructive policies of government expending control over American education. This now applies to ACA and degrading American medicine. Government should have review and oversight but not control over these and other areas of our lives.
Campaign websiteVician's campaign website stated the following:Lower Costs for Illinois FamiliesCut taxes, slash regulations, and put money back in your pocket.Families across the 14th District are getting crushed by skyrocketing property taxes, grocery bills, and gas prices while wages stay flat. Enough is enough. Gary Vician will fight to cut taxes, eliminate job-killing regulations, and stop the reckless spending in Washington and Springfield that fuels inflation. From Plainfield to New Lenox, from DeKalb to Dixon, we deserve leaders who put money back in your pocket instead of taking more of it.Good-Paying Illinois Jobs – NowFactories open, back small businesses/family farms, Illinois workers first.Illinois families need good-paying jobs right here at home—not handouts from politicians. Gary Vician will bring manufacturing back to our factories, re-allocate subsidies to protect our generational family farms, and make Illinois the place companies want to grow again. When small businesses thrive, when plants reopen, and when our farmers can compete on a level playing field, the entire 14th District wins.Safe Streets, Secure NeighborhoodsFully fund police, secure the border, and keep criminals off our streets.Crime is spilling out of Chicago and into our suburbs and small towns. Porch pirates, carjackings, and gang violence have no place in the 14th District. Gary Vician will fully fund our police, crack down on repeat offenders, and secure the southern border that is flooding our state with drugs and chaos. Your family’s safety comes first—period.Protect Our God-Given LibertiesDefend your Second Amendment, free speech, and every right the Constitution guarantees. The rights in our Constitution aren’t negotiable. Gary Vician will defend your Second Amendment without apology, fight censorship of conservative voices, protect religious freedom, and stop government overreach into your daily life. From school board meetings to the steps of the Capitol, your liberties will have a fierce defender in Congress.Term Limits for All Who Hold Power12 years and out – for Congress, federal judges, Cabinet secretaries, and agency heads. No more lifetime rulers in Washington.Washington is full of people who never have to face the voters again—career politicians, lifetime judges, and political appointees who stay in power for decades. That’s not a republic, that’s a ruling class. Gary Vician will fight for constitutional amendments to impose strict term limits on members of Congress, federal judges, Cabinet officials, and agency heads. Twelve years is enough. It’s time the servants went home and the citizens took their country back.Illinois Energy = Lower Bills, More JobsDrill, mine, and refine right here in Illinois to cut your energy bills and create thousands of jobs.Illinois sits on abundant coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear know-how, yet families pay some of the highest energy bills in America while jobs go elsewhere. Gary Vician will unleash Illinois energy—drill here, refine here, power here—so we can lower your electric and heating costs, create thousands of blue-collar jobs, and end our dependence on foreign dictators for the energy that keeps our homes warm and our factories running.— Gary Vician's campaign website (February 25, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
