Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I have been a high school social science teacher for 28 years. From 2006-2010, I was a school board trustee on the Center Joint Unified School District in Antelope/Elverta in Sacramento County. I ran for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 2012 and 2016.

Proportional Representation in the State Assembly by political party with a 5% threshold.Ranked Choice Voting for all other single-member racesPublic financing of campaigns. End corporate personhood.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
End the control of two corporate political parties in policy making decisions. We must open up the political process and expand democracy, not limit our ability to express our opinions at the ballot box.

Oversees elections, election integrity, and the incorporation process.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
I worked for Burger King in Fremont in 1983. I came to the realization that corporate America makes huge profits and pays their employees as little as possible, all in the name of profits. I quit after five weeks.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?
Not necessarily. They just need the courage of their convictions, and the integrity to maintain our democracy.
