In their own words

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Delivering actual affordability to Hoosiers by:

Raising minimum wage

Lowering utility costs

Stopping predatory price gouging

Lowering prescription drug costs

Lowering the cost of healthcareProtecting and strengthening public education. Rejecting the state coordinated corporate takeover of our public schools. Stopping the use of taxpayer dollars to fund private and charter schools that aren't held to the same standards as public schools.Strengthening workers protections by:

Establishing support and protection for unions and those looking to unionize

Terminating "at will" employment laws

Strengthening benefits for non-union employees as well

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I was pulled from public schools from 7th grade to graduation due to my parent's fears about the quality of the education system. The barriers I've faced as an adult from not having access to quality public education have been incredibly difficult to overcome. I've felt behind and missed out on experiences I'll never be able to replace.

I want to build trust between our public education systems and parents that trust those schools with their children and the taxpayers that funds them. I want to strengthen our schools so that all of our children have access to the tools that will help them enter adulthood equipped to succeed.
