Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Gabe Woolley is a constitutional conservative Republican and an educator of 90 years. He believes that the family unit is the most important form of government. He believes in small government and that the people are in charge of their elected officials. The elected position should be a servants position. An elected officials decisions should be in lock step with what the majority of their constituents desire so long as the United States Constitution aligned with this decision.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Parents are the experts when it comes to their children.The family unit is the most important form of government.The United States Constitution is to defend the rights that God has given man.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education, parents rights, second amendment, & first amendment.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I always want to strive to be more like Jesus.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

An elected official must always remember that they are to answer to the people in the United States Constitution. The elected position should be a servant position.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I think it is very important for a leader and elected official to have humility and integrity.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

The rights of the House of Representatives is to uphold the United States Constitution, and be a messenger for the people.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I want to leave, knowing that I was part of building the kingdom of God while on earth.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

At age 14, I bagged groceries and retrieved carts at Reasors grocery store.

What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?

Oklahoma is currently in a big fight to remain conservative. This has the potential to become either better or worse over the next 10 years.

Do you believe that it’s beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics?

This is potentially beneficial, but not necessary. This is a position that average every day citizens should be able to step up and participate in, if elected.

Do you believe it’s beneficial to build relationships with other legislators? Please explain your answer.

Yes, this is important because we need the whole state of Oklahoma to be the very best it could be. This requires teamwork & collaboration.

Is there a particular legislator, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

I admire the work of Chris Banning and JJ Humprey.
