Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I support the following tax code: No payroll tax. A standard deduction of $100,000. A 50% flat tax on income, capital gains, and corporate income. A 5% sales tax on stocks and real estate.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
The tax code, and aggressively paying down the national debt for the purpose of strengthening the purchasing power of the money in our wallets. No taxes on the poorest 60% of working people. Break-up monopolistic banks and hospitals. I support the Affordable Care Act. I support Social Security/ Medicare / Medicaid. I am opposed to Medicare-for-All, I am opposed to free college-for-all. Student loans should be dischargeable in Bankruptcy court, if borrower can prove financial hardship. I support nuclear energy.
What is your favorite book? Why?
The Alchemist, because it encourages me to keep dreaming.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?
Making the economy work for the middle class and the working poor.

A lack of new ideas being debated and implemented.

No. I believe senators should inject new ideas into the political system, a push these policies forward.

The filibuster is okay.

Is the judge an independent thinker.
