Fred Gardner was born in Emporia, Kansas. He graduated from Hartford High School. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1978.[1] His career experience includes owning a business and working as a veterinarian and a farmer/rancher.[2]

I am a Veterinarian involved in a rural mixed animal practice. My wife and I have lived and worked in Garnett since 1984 and have four adult sons.

I have lived in this district over forty years and worked for many of the people here. My experience running a business and communicating with people here qualify me as a good representative of the people.
