Candidate forum
At a 2024 candidate forum, Atwood said he was using his candidacy to raise awareness about approval voting, which he described as “vote for one, vote for some, or vote for all but one."[5]
“We’re all concerned with spoilers, we’re all concerned with RFK this year,” Atwood said at the forum. “If we want to avoid the spoiler issue, we need to go with an alternative voting method, and the best and simplest is approval voting.”[5]
