Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Fatima Harris Felton is a practicing attorney who has owned The Harris Law Firm, LLC, a general practice law firm in the Atlanta area, for nineteen years. As a former Judicial Officer in the Fulton County Superior Court, she adjudicated disputes in the Family Division handling divorces, child custody disputes, legitimations and more from initiation until completion. Attorney Felton successfully defended a case in the Georgia Court of Appeals in 2011.
Attorney Fatima Harris Felton was raised in New Orleans, LA, and attended Loyola University New Orleans and Tulane University School of Law. Her dedication to the rule of law extends beyond the courtroom; she has served on the board and as past President of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) since 2017. As President, Attorney Felton conducted LRIS’s first-ever audit, bringing in over $130,000 to LRIS which was then donated to the Atlanta Bar Foundation. Attorney Felton volunteers her time as a pro bono lawyer with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a nonprofit that helps children arriving unaccompanied at the border. Attorney Felton is an active member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA) and the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association.
Outside of the law, Attorney Fatima Harris Felton is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Fatima is married with three children.

I am running because there has been attempts by the federal government to disenfranchise Georgians.I am running because I believe in improving maternal health outcomes and supporting hard-working families.I am running because if elected, I will be the only African-American judge on the Georgia Court of Appeals. Representation is important.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Affordable housing, good maternal health outcomes, universal health care, stopping voter suppression
