Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
My name is Fantasha Allen, and I am a proud East Texas community advocate, graduate-level social work student, and dedicated public servant in the making. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work through the Advanced Standing Program. My career has been built around serving families, empowering youth, and connecting communities with resources that improve quality of life.
I am deeply committed to strengthening our community through education, healthcare access, economic opportunity, and family support services. Through my work in case management, community outreach, and nonprofit engagement, I have helped individuals and families navigate complex systems and gain access to the services they deserve.
As a leader, I believe real change happens when we listen to the people we serve. I am passionate about advocating for policies that support working families, improve access to mental health services, expand educational opportunities, and promote safe, thriving communities across East Texas.
My journey has been shaped by perseverance, service, and a belief that every person deserves opportunity and respect. I am running to bring fresh perspective, strong advocacy, and community-centered leadership to public service. I am committed to being accessible, transparent, and accountable to the people I serve.

My campaign is centered on strengthening families and supporting the everyday needs of our community. I am committed to improving access to affordable healthcare, expanding mental health services, supporting public education, and ensuring families have access to stable housing and workforce opportunities. Strong communities start with strong families, and I will advocate for policies that help people not just survive, but truly thrive.Second Key Message: Real Experience Serving Real People
My background in social work and community outreach has given me firsthand experience helping individuals and families navigate challenges like healthcare access, economic hardship, and education barriers. I understand the systems people struggle with because I have worked directly with those systems. I bring practical, people-centered solutions and will make sure the voices of our community are heard in decision-making.Third Key Message: Accessible, Transparent, and Accountable Leadership
I believe leadership should be visible, approachable, and responsive. I am committed to listening to residents, collaborating with community partners, and keeping voters informed about the decisions that impact their lives. My goal is to build trust, increase community engagement, and ensure that public service truly reflects the needs and priorities of the people.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about public policies that strengthen families, expand access to healthcare, and improve education and economic opportunity. My background in social work drives my commitment to increasing access to mental health services, maternal healthcare, and preventative care. I strongly support investing in public education, career training programs, and workforce development to help individuals achieve long-term stability. I am also passionate about policies that support youth mentorship, family stability, and community-based resources. I believe strong communities are built through early support, economic opportunity, and ensuring families have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
