In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a level-headed, natural leader, that is educated in governmental policy, who believes in the people, the citizens of the United States, not any one person or party. I believe that the majority of us know what is right, what is wrong, and what is needed to help our struggling nation. My mission is to be a true representative for the people, not a puppet for the wealthy and powerful to manipulate. I will introduce legislation to END the CORRUPTION of MONEY in our politics, fund our K-12 Education properly, ban private equity corporations from buying single family houses to help make housing more affordable, and fight to keep civil liberties such as, affordable healthcare, affordable housing, and personal civil rights no matter who you are.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Healthcare For ALL- End subsidies for Big Pharma & Insurance Companies. Negotiate lower prescription drug prices. Guarantee coverage for all Americans regardless of their financial situation.Save The Housing Market - Make it illegal for Private Equity Firms & Corporations to buy single family homes. Initialize incentives for local builders to build affordable housing under $250k. End predatory rental fee increases and collaboration betweem landlords. Give 1st time home buyers up to $25k in down-payment assistance.End the corruption of money in politics - Move to publicly funded elections with a government match. Implement 12yr term limits across the board for Federal office. End the revolving door for Congress & outlaw personal sto k trading while in office.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Affordable housing, Healthcare for all, Better wages to fight inflation, Robust union protection and representation,

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Bernie for his people first policy & Obama for his authentic personality, ability to speak and own a room, and calm demeanor under pressure.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honor, Integrity, Character, Honesty, Transparency, & The Will to Fight For The People over money, donors, and corporate influences.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

To enact legislation that benefits your constituents, and constituents across the country with bold, progressive, populist policies like Paid Family Leave, Healthcare for all, and higher minimum wage to combat inflation.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I want to be the person who is known for Saving American Democracy by eliminating the corruption of money, corporations, and mega-donors in politics, and implementing term limits. These 2 items will Save our Democratic Republic.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

Well. 9/11 was pretty big. Happened when I was 18. Changed the course of US policy and our civil liberties.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Burger King - 14. Started there for a year, then moved into the restaurant industry becoming a busboy, cook, server, and bartender.

What is your favorite book? Why?

Justice Is Coming by Cenk Uygur

How to Win Friends and Influnce People by Dale Carnegie

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Captain America

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Balancing my passion to fix our country and make it work for the people, while also working 50 hours per week, and running for office.

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

Well, in a perfect world, without gerrymandering and money in politics, local representation for communities would work. But today's House is corrupted, gerrymandered, and not working for the people. This must change.

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

Actually NO! Life long politicians become corrupted almost immediately. We need everyday, average Americans to run for office. Teachers, Firefighters, Police, Plumbers, etc, etc. Because we know the struggles of everyday life in America, unlike the wealthy elite who get propped up into office to keep working for the donors, instead of the people.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Getting out of the corruption of money in our politics. It has poisoned our Democracy and turned it into us living under Corporate Rule with corrupt legislators and executive branch officials infringing on our civil rights and liberties, while lining their own pockets and giving Trillion dollar tax breaks to the ultra wealthy.

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

Probably not, unless we get money out of politics, because the minute they get elected, they start worrying about raising money for the next election, instead of legislating for the people of their district. In a perfect, uncorruoted world? Yes, 2 years would work.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

Absolutely. I will introduce this legislation Day 1.

Is there a particular representative, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

Bernie Sanders, Ro Khana, Greg Casar, AOC

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Of course. But first we have to eliminate sickofants, and corrupt legislators, so we can get back to civil discourse and start enacting legislation to benefit WE THE PEOPLE.

How should the U.S. House use its investigative powers?

Hold the corrupt responsible, force the release of the Epstien Files so we can get rid of the garbage elitist that run everything, and don't want to be caught.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

Local Unions, American Promise, Term Limits U.S.

What is an accomplishment that you are proud of?

Earning my 2nd degree in Government with an emphasis in State and Local Policy, and helping my wife build a successful pet care business.

What legislation would you enact related to election administration in the United States?

Let true Democracy rule. Dont limit voting or voting rights, just because you want to win. Allow all states to enact mail-in voting, keep early voting, and extend in person days to the entire first week in November.
