Background
Eric LeMonte Williams graduated from Carter High School. He then attended San Antonio College, the University of Detroit and the University of Hartford where he studied communications and journalism. Williams’s career experience includes being the CEO of Out The Box Productions and spending 30 years as a journalist. He has worked for the Dallas Morning News, National Geographic Magazine, the Boston Globe, the Detroit News, the Hartford Courant, the San Antonio Light, the Topeka Capital Journal and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.[1]
Williams was the first African American to win the National College Photographer of the Year award in 1987. Williams has served as the personal filmmaker for the Rev. Jesse Jackson and technical director for Jesse Jackson Speaks to the Nation TV program. Williams became the first documentary filmmaker to showcase at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Agora Film series in Cannes, France showcasing the life works of the Reverend Jesse Jackson in "The Country Preacher".[1]
Williams' independent investigative documentary films have appeared on CNN, ABC, FOX, BET, CBS, NBC and PAX TV. His photographic documentary entitled "Haiti Cries Out" was presented at the Presidential Jimmy Carter Library in Atlanta. Williams also completed a three-part documentary film titled "Three-Fifths" about his journeys to Africa and the election of President Obama.[1]

I will support all legislation designed to keep Social Security sound and strengthen its protections that Americans earn through their hard work. I support removing the cap on Social Security tax so that upper income people pay into Social Security on all they earn just like every one else.
I will support and promote legislation that will outlaw corporate tax havens and tax breaks for shipping job overseas and support bring manufacturing and outsourcing back home.
I will support clean fair elections. I will support any legislation to ban anonymous political influence and support publicly financed elections.
I will support and promote legislation on comprehensive immigration reform to strengthen our economy, national security and to renew the American Dream.
I will support and promote legislation to end Pay-Day lending institutions within urban areas targeting minorities..
I will support and promote legislation to pass a Farm bill that has already passed in the Senate.[3]
