Campaign websiteJenkins' campaign website stated the following:Fiscal Responsibility & Government SpendingWashington has a spending problem — and Kansas families are paying for it through inflation, higher taxes, and a crushing national debt that threatens future generations. Eric Jenkins has spent his entire public career fighting wasteful spending at the local level, and he'll bring that same discipline to Congress.Oppose deficit spending and push for a balanced budget frameworkEliminate wasteful and duplicative federal programsCut government red tape that burdens small businesses and familiesExtend and make permanent the Trump-era tax cuts for working familiesOppose any new broad-based tax increases on Kansas residentsNational Security & MilitaryAs a Retired Army Colonel with over three decades of service, Eric Jenkins understands — at a bone-deep level — what our military needs to keep America safe. He will be among the strongest advocates for our armed forces in Congress, period.Fully fund and modernize the U.S. military to deter adversariesSupport our veterans with quality healthcare and benefits they earnedHold allies accountable for meeting their own defense commitmentsOppose reckless foreign entanglements that drain American resourcesStrengthen Fort Leavenworth and other Kansas military installationsBorder Security & ImmigrationA nation without borders is not a nation. Eric supports common-sense immigration enforcement that respects the rule of law and puts American workers and communities first.Complete and maintain a secure southern borderEnd catch-and-release and enforce immigration laws on the booksSupport legal immigration pathways while cracking down on illegal entryDefund cities that obstruct federal immigration enforcementStop the flow of fentanyl and dangerous narcotics across our bordersEconomy, Jobs & EnergyKansas families deserve an economy that works for them — not one burdened by over-regulation, high energy costs, and policies that ship jobs overseas. Eric will fight for pro-growth policies that keep money in Kansans' pockets.Reduce the regulatory burden on Kansas businesses and farmersSupport American energy independence — oil, gas, nuclear, and renewablesOppose the Green New Deal and energy policies that raise household costsFight for fair trade deals that protect Kansas agriculture and manufacturingGrow broadband access in underserved areas of the 3rd DistrictConstitutional Rights & Rule of LawThe rights enshrined in the Constitution are not privileges granted by government — they are God-given rights that government must protect. Eric Jenkins will never vote to infringe on them.Defend Second Amendment rights against any unconstitutional restrictionsProtect free speech — online and in the public squareFight back against government overreach into religious libertySupport the appointment of constitutionalist judges at every levelOppose federal mandates that strip states and individuals of their autonomy— Eric Jenkins' campaign website (July 29, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source. Jenkins' campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Prioritize Funding

K-12, Public Safety & Transportation.

We need to prioritize to ensure funding for vital services. Our budget should be refocused to delivering quality core services efficiently and effectively. Spending without strict accountability and oversight must stop.

Responsible Governance

Stop the Debt. Keep Taxes in Check.

We should plan long term and stop using debt to cover bad management and bad spending habits. Debt service costs millions of dollars, threatening higher taxes on property, income, and sales. We can do better.

Strong Higher Ed & Tech Ed

Better Jobs for Kansas Families.

An educated and skilled workforce is critical to recruit new jobs and industries. We must focus on graduating students for in demand fields like engineering, tech, accounting and skilled trades to keep our economy growing.

Pro-Life. Pro-Family. Pro-2nd Amendment. A Commonsense Focus.[6]
