In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a proud Yuma native, community advocate, mother, and lifelong public servant running for Arizona State House in Legislative District 23.

I have spent my life serving rural Arizona through nonprofit leadership, volunteer work, and community programs that support families, children, and working people. I understand the challenges facing our border and rural communities because this is my home.

I am running to fight for affordable childcare, stronger public schools, better access to healthcare, economic opportunity, and leadership that truly listens to the people of LD23.

I believe our district deserves representation rooted in service, compassion, and real community experience. I am ready to bring a strong voice for Yuma County, rural Arizona, and working families to the State Capitol.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

1. Rooted in the community

I want voters to know that I am from this district, understand the needs of our rural and border communities, and have spent years serving families, children, and local organizations.2. Focused on everyday issues

My priorities are affordable childcare, strong public schools, access to healthcare, economic opportunity, and making sure working families have the support they need to thrive.3. Leadership that listens

I believe LD23 deserves leadership that is accessible, respectful, and connected to the people. I will bring a service-first approach and make sure our communities have a voice at the State Capitol.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about policies that support working families, children, and rural communities. Affordable childcare is one of my top priorities because parents should not have to choose between working and finding safe, reliable care for their children. I also care deeply about strengthening public education, expanding access to healthcare, and creating economic opportunities in rural and border communities like LD23 is. My background in nonprofit work, youth programs, Girl Scouts, Rotary, and community service has shaped my belief that policy should be people-centered and focused on helping families thrive.
