In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Ellie has more than 20 years of experience in conflict resolution and mediation. She is committed to bringing a clear, pragmatic voice to Washington on behalf of Idahoans.

Ellie’s priorities are restoring accountability and balance in government; protecting Idaho's public lands, water, and energy, and lowering the cost of living for Idaho families, including access to affordable healthcare. She is focused on protecting fundamental freedoms and ensuring that government works for everyone—not special interests.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I will fight for Idaho everyday, with every vote. Congress has forgotten who they work for and the nature of the job. My job is to protect and serve my constituents, our interests and priorities. When the government does its job, Idahoans are free to do ours.I will lower costs for Idaho families. We should be able to work hard, buy a home, raise our children, afford healthcare, and enjoy the fruits of our labor. That is not radical. It is the American promise.I will protect our fundamental freedoms. My first order of business will be protecting the rights that belong to every American. From freedom of speech to the Second Amendment, I believe upholding the rule of law and that laws must be applied evenly and lawfully—without favoritism, political weaponization, or selective enforcement.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about restoring the sanctity of the United States Constitution and protecting Idaho’s state sovereignty and local control. Our lands, waters, farms, and freedoms are the foundation of our way of life in our great state, and they are not for sale.
