Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Eli Sabin was born and raised in New Haven. Eli served on the Board of Alders for six years, where he fought for affordable housing, neighborhood safety, and better schools. Now, Eli works at Connecticut Voices for Children, a local nonprofit. In his job as the Legislative Coordinator, Eli advocates at the state capitol for housing, child care, and health care to help families in New Haven and across the state.

Eli is running for State Representative because the cost of living and Donald Trump are both out of control. To meet this moment, we need new energy, new ideas, and new leadership to fight for our community. As our State Rep., Eli will focus on securing more funding for our public schools, bringing down the cost of rent, property taxes, and utilities, and protecting our community from the Trump administration.
