Edward Moore

Edward Moore was born in Flushing, New York. Moore served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1973. He earned an associate degree from Farmingdale State College in 1971. Moore's career experience includes working as a security technology consultant. He holds a state alarm security license in Florida and New York. He has been certified as a licensed qualifier with National Security Company. He has been affiliated with the American Legion and AFIO.[1]

An American Family Man: God, Family, Country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what I AM , what I can be, what I will be. They are my rallying points: to build courage when courage seems to fail; to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith; to create hope when hope becomes forlorn.

Here in America, we are fortunate that most of our people have not only the blessings of liberty but also the means to live full and good and, by the world's standards, even abundant lives. We must press on, however, toward a goal of not only more and better jobs but of full opportunity for every American and of what we are striving so hard right now to achieve, prosperity without inflation.

My Dad: My Father, My Dad, lost both his parents before he was five years of age, was brought up in “Hell’s Kitchen” N.Y., Selling bananas and shining shoes to help support his Aunt and Uncle , fighting Forest Fires in the CCC during the “Depression” , fighting as a “Bushmaster Scout” in 178 Combat Infantry Team under Genersl Douglas MacArthur and supporting and “Caring” for his Family as His Greatest Achievement! Worked 6 days a week 12-16 a Day : Never Complained about this Nation; HE UNDERSTOOD the sacrifices by men and women of the past that were necessary to make this Nation Great and Understood ITS WAS FOR THE CHILDREN !!

My favorite joke, I go to heaven and I meet God;

Ed : I ask God what can I do to help;

God; god tells me to go in the room and look at the TV screen and see what’s going on; on earth.

Ed; I go back to God and ask what can I do they are suffering and dying in wars.

GOD: You must go back in your room and pray.

Ed: I pray and pray and pray and wars are continuing on earth, and go back to God.

Ed; God it’s not working I’m praying and they’re still fighting and killing each other and the children lord, the children Lord, I cry for the children.

God; Go back in your room and find someone that you can pray for that can bring peace to the world.

Ed; I go back to my room and I put a list together of all the leaders of the world and I pray for them all and nothing happens.

God: You must go back to your room and find someone who is in prayer as that’s the only time that they’re listening to us above.

Ed: I go back to my room and I look all over and I find a very few who are truly in prayer and I pray for them.

Ed: I tell God I found some in prayer but I also found that they don’t pray all the time and it’s hard to communicate with them and sometimes they don’t believe they can make a difference in the world!!
