My name is Dylan Shelby and I am a trans woman from Aurora, Colorado. I have always had a passion for politics and law and recent frustrations with our democratic leadership has inspired me to run for office. I want to change the Democratic Party. My background is in sales and non-profit. I work closely with families and volunteers that are supporting strengthening girls in our community.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
For too long, career politicians have giving a voice to PACs, not people. Now’s the time to take our voice back with a campaign that is unbought and unafraid.Someone with no political experience and nothing more than a deep interest in politics and law running for Congress is pretty crazy right? Well, it sure beats electing the same old leaders that will stand by and let fascism take over. The oldest representative in Congress was born just 10 days after the World Premiere of Snow White… the original one. Let’s admit it, most voters aren’t 1000 years old, nor do they have $1 million+ in assets; isn’t it time “we the people” truly means We the People?
