Denny LaVé is a Christian conservative running for U.S. Senate in the state of Idaho. His professional background is as an ironworker and eventual founder and owner of Precision Precast Erectors, an Ironworking Construction Company. After decades of being a businessman and construction industry leader, Denny announced his candidacy for the United States Senate in February of 2026, launching a Republican primary challenge centered on restoring accountability, ending reckless spending, and putting Idaho families first.
Denny is the father of 6 boys, and believes Idaho deserves new leadership, not another term for a Washington insider who has spent decades in politics. His blue-collar roots and real-world experience are the foundation of his campaign. Running on an American First platform, LaVé outlined clear priorities for his campaign, including securing the border permanently, ending reckless federal spending, restoring constitutional limits on Washington, and standing up to foreign adversaries like China instead of writing blank checks overseas.
LaVé is running a grassroots-driven campaign powered by small donors and voters who want fresh leadership and real results. He also Is investing personally in his campaign.

Grocery prices in Idaho are roughly twenty-five percent higher than they were five years ago. Housing costs in the Treasure Valley have doubled. Gas prices that once made Idaho's rural lifestyle affordable are now a budget line that families in Twin Falls and Burley must plan around to just get by. Wages have not kept pace with any of it. Corruption in DC has caused our national debt and inflation to simultaneously skyrocket. We spend trillions on forever wars, but have no money to take care of our own Americans. The Corruption of DC is the root cause of the affordability crisis in our country, and only a political outsider like myself can take on this corruption and solve the affordability crises. I am a Republican, but as far as I can tell, I am the only Republican running for U.S. Senate in this primary who opposes the war in Iran and all these forever wars, and any foreign influence over our government or foreign lobby such as AIPAC. When it comes to foreign influence over America and the unlawful surveillance of Americans by intelligence agencies, these are not Democrat vs Republican issues. I see Democrats and Republicans turning to be the right side of these issues, but unfortunately on both sides, most are still establishment career politicians who are on the wrong side. For immigration, two policies are essential: mandatory E-Verify and a responsible, humane remigration strategy rooted in global restabilization efforts which can only be achieved by an Anti-War candidate such as myself. Mandatory E-Verify is simple. If you want to work in the United States, employers must confirm you are legally eligible. As a business owner, I followed E-Verify laws, and it angers me to see massive corporations ignoring the rules and hiring illegal labor. Law-abiding businesses are put at a disadvantage and American wages are undercut. As for Remigration, it is more than just deportations. It is also incentivizing migrants to return to their home countries voluntarily. It goes hand in hand with my Anti-War position.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Besides what I just mentioned in my three key messages, I am passionate about Idaho’s natural beauty. As Senator, I will oppose the sale of public lands to mega corporations in Idaho and around the country, especially to those corporations who wish to repurpose public lands as data centers, whose high energy costs often end up being subsidized by the taxpayer. Idaho is the most beautiful state in the country, no where else does the landscape compare, and I will not allow us to lose that.
I also care deeply about repairing our healthcare system. As Senator, I will work to ensure hospitals and insurers publish real prices. But radical transparency is not enough, we also need capped maximum markups on real hard costs.

We must end reckless spending in DC. This means zero based budgets. It means radical transparency in healthcare pricing. It means ending waste and fraud all throughout the government. We need to secure the border and repatriate illegal immigrants. We need elected officials who work for AMERICANS first and always. Being American must come before party politics and petty positioning. Any politician who prioritizes re-election over getting stuff done needs to go. They are the problem.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Healthcare! It needs to be transparent and accessible. It's inexcusable to have only 9% of every health care dollar go to front line providers! That means there is 91% overhead and profit. That's outrageous.
I'm also passionate about taking care of our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines. They commit to serve our great nation. They deserve to be treated better than they have been up until now.
