In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a straight white christian married (45 years) male who loves the jewish people and has no guilt over being born white. It wasn't my choice. I have no problem with LGB, but that is where I draw the line - - anyone with a penis should stay out of women's private spaces and sports, and even giving puberty blocking drugs to minors is child abuse. There are only 2 genders, based on God and science. I was a Principal Scientist in product development for a medical device manufacturing company. My career as an analytical chemist lasted 43 and a half years without a day of unemployment, very few sick days, and I left as an inventor on 9 US patents. I would like this job I am applying for to be my next great adventure.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Credit to Frank Sinatra: I did it my way. I collected over 2200 signatures myself in order to meet potential voters, hear their concerns and safeguard citizens' private information (addresses). If you want something done right, do it yourself. My way is also Finance-Free: I am not taking any money from anyone or any organization ever. Money corrupts politics (dah). If you give me $1000 and Joe or Mary give me $10 and you both call my office at the same time, which button on my phone will I push? I don't want to owe any favors.I want to redefine the office of US Rep. Many of you had compelling stories of injustice or frustration or tough challenges in your life. There is a human tendency to think "I'm gonna call my congressman, he/she will cut through the red tape and fix this". If elected, I wish I could solve all your problems. But there are nearly 800,000 residents in the third US district, 35 cities and towns. I am not super human and I will have a small staff (recall: finance free). Most politicians love to get involved in these matters. Ask yourself why. Because they want to be re-elected, again and again, you know, like you know who. I am 73 and would be content with one term.HEALTHCARE. I am a conservative independent who wants single payer, universal, medicaid for all, whatever you want to call it. My conservative allies just disowned me if they read this. The reason is clear - - healthcare is a human right and there is a FAIRNESS issue at play. Far too many of you have no health insurance because Obamacare is poor - - what you can afford covers little and what you need costs too much. My wife and I know this because we lived it until she turned 65. Meanwhile, many people, including illegal invaders, have all their medical needs (and many other needs) fully met. If that isn't unfair, I don't know what is. We can afford it only if we fight big pharma tooth and nail. They are the #1 driver of cost.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

First, healthcare is too expensive due mainly to overuse of insanely expensive drugs such as the $40,000 drug I was given for covid. If I had known the price I would have declined it. Seriously. Cancer research is a game. Billions poured in but few successes. There is a whole new metabolic theory out of Boston College but you have to go to Toronto. Canada to get this treatment.

Second, The national debt just hit $40 trillion, That is a sad state of affairs. The problem is at its core three letters that sound like an opiate: OPiuM = Other People's Money. We can do a lot more fighting waste, fraud and abuse. We need a balanced budget.
