Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Vermont’s healthcare system is completely out of control. As I have said many times on the Senate floor and as a member of the Health/Welfare Committee, the situation is less complicated than some suggest. Vermont’s healthcare costs are three times those of neighboring New Hampshire - an entirely unsustainable level.Immediately flatten Vermont’s budget/taxes and reprioritize how we spend our revenue for the benefit of all Vermonters not simply special interests. As a matter of priority, Vermont must address the lack of 21st-century transportation systems across much of the state and the resulting stagnation of Vermont’s economy.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
State and Regional Economic Development.
Transportation.
Housing.
Healthcare.
Education, both primary and secondary.
Taxation and appropriations.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
Governor Phil Scott and Governor Jim Douglas
